Our Philosophy About Communication

We could define our conception of communication for the pharmaceutical industry and Animal Healthcare the following way:

« In communication, the transmitter sends a stream of signals to the receiver in forms of words, sounds, gestures, which aim is to create with the latter an emotional impact, automatically generating favourable behaviours to the idea, product, concept that he has to defend, promote or have adopted ! »

In other terms, communicating is activating a reaction!

philosophie

Behaviour (what I do) is basically a reaction to a situation! The situation is a perception. Thus to behave is to perceive. Therefore communicating is to create a situation that leads to a perception and by then a behaviour!

This point of view on communication implies that we master all techniques and laws of emotional communication, dialectic, impact and rhetoric. Arguing during a medical call, a symposium, a meeting, an interview, is about distiling messages to create a situation.

In his book, « Storytelling in action » Georges Chetochine gives the keys of this art and this science of communicating.

Here is the academic definition of the term training: «Training consists in teaching a person the necessary knowledge and skills in order to carry out the duties he is in charge of… »

For our training consultants and those who compose the programmes, training is fortunately going beyond this definition. It is about giving sense, a practical reality, an emotion to the words « teaching », « knowledge », « skills »!

Teaching : You have to be enthousiast in order to teach. You have to be willing to share the knowledge with others. You have to be humble, close to the ones you teach. Each training is a human adventure. It is then that the training reaches its goal: ‘Make the trainees’ behaviours change by being aware and by deeply reassessing the acquired skills».

Knowledge :
Women and men who make up the audience that we have to train are for the most already competent specialists in their field. Therefore it is essential that we provide them with marketing, sales coaching, public speech tips, management, through programmes that give authentic new knowledge. This implies that our programmes are permanently revised and adapted to the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and Animal Healthcare.

Skills :
Training adults implies that we display a real teaching strategy at each training based on the active participation of the learners. Small teams works, case preparation should lead to real tests performed on various players. The learner should never be left in a spectator’s or arbiter’s position. He must participate ! Each programme is based on a core curriculum that is then adapted according to the realities and environment of the pharmaceutical group, company, hospital, chemist’s, etc…
